Mission Marshall’s Read-to-Ride program has ended for the school year, with hundreds of Marshall ISD students earning bicycles.  Students from Marshall FFA and Marshall JROTC assembled and delivered more than 270 bikes to third-grade students at Davy Crocket, Price T. Young, Sam Houston and William B. Travis elementary schools.

The program focuses on Marshall third graders. Students earning bikes have significantly improved their grade reading level during the school year.  Mission Marshall, MISD and numerous dedicated community partners have made Read-to-Ride a successful program.  It’s proven to help improve MISD students STAAR Reading test scores.
