On June 6, 2022, Arrest Warrants were issued for Montrel Hatton, 39, of Marshall, in reference to the shooting that occurred Monday afternoon at Citi Trends in Marshall.
Hatton was last seen driving a white 2021 Chevrolet Silverado with Texas license plate NZS7510.
On Monday at 4:15 p.m., Marshall Police Communications were called about an active shooting at Citi Trends. Two women were shot during the incident, and transported to a Longview area hospital where each had surgery and remain. According to Marshall Police, the victims identified the shooter as Hatton leading investigators to obtain two arrest warrants for him. One warrant is for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Family Violence, and the second is for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
Hatton is believed to be driving a late model white four-door Chevrolet pickup truck. He should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, call 9-1-1 immediately.
