The Jefferson Lions Club answered the call to serve the Jefferson community today.
The club coordinated with city officials and canceled their regular noon meeting to assist neighbors and friends in cleaning the storm debris.
Many residents and businesses had no electricity due to large fallen trees. PDG Lion Paul Boggs from the Lions District 2-x2 Disaster Recovery Team, assisted the club as they sawed and removed large limbs and swept up broken glass from a downtown area business.
