The Jefferson Police Department swore in a new officer on Tuesday and had a little fun with his height.
Police Chief Florentino Perez swore in Officer Carson McKnight. Because McKnight is 6’7″ and Chief Perez is, well, not, Chief Perez stood on a step ladder during part of the ceremony.
