Wiley College provides employees a $250 stipend to assist with rising food and gas prices

Wiley College employees received a check in the amount of $250 to help offset costs associated with food and gas.

The College’s commitment to social good sparked President Herman J. Felton, Jr., to distribute the stipends to all employees. “Wiley College is a special community because of its employees and students. We know that economically the nation is facing hardships. This stipend is in the spirit of community and hopefully can offer a little relief as the nation and the globe experience these economic challenges,” shared Wiley College President Herman J. Felton, Jr., J.D., Ph.D.

The institution is experiencing important growth that is as a result of the efforts of our employees.

“The day that I found out we were receiving the $250.00 meant a lot to me. A couple of days prior, I was worried about how I was going to finish getting my daughter’s school clothes, and this blessing occurred. I was relieved and thanked God and President Felton. Now my school  shopping  is complete, and again thank you ever so kindly for this blessing.” Brittny Gatson, Enrollment Management Data Processor

One of the College’s targeted focuses is making Wiley College one of the best places to work! The College last year implemented a “sacred pause” where all employees and students were given a week off to rest, reflect, and renew. Wiley College has over 150 employees.
