The City of Marshall Public Works Department announced today the expected start date of the 2022 Street Improvement Program.
The program utilizes contractors to reconstruct the most distressed City streets and incorporates a blending of Portland cement with existing subgrade material to create a stabilized base. Once the reconstruction is complete a paving crew will place the asphalt finish course. When the paving is completed, if the street has line striping, the paving contractor will coordinate the restriping effort.
Reconstruction crews are scheduled to begin in the Louisiana St. section on Friday August 19, 2022.
