Annual 9/11 Remembrance Service scheduled for Saturday, September 10, 2022

In honor and remembrance of those who lost their lives and saved so many lives in the attacks on the United States of America on September 11, 2001, all firefighters, members of law enforcement, other first responders, and members of the public in Marshall and Harrison County are invited to the annual 9/11 Community Prayer Service.

The prayer service will take place this year on Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 8:30 am – 9:00 am in the East parking lot of the Harrison County Courthouse Square. Since 9/11 falls on a Sunday this year, the service is being held on the day before.

As is the tradition through the many years of the annual community prayer service, Marshall and Harrison County fire and law enforcement departments are invited to bring a service vehicle or vehicles to the Square for the Prayer Service.

This year the planning of the annual 9/11 Prayer Service is a collaboration between the Harrison County Firefighters Association and Marshall Main Street.

More details about the prayer service and the related program will be provided in the coming week.
