Marshall Harrison County Health District has received its shipment of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent, which is authorized for use as a single booster dose in individuals 12 years and older.
According to the FDA’s amended emergency use authorization, individuals 12 years and older are eligible for a single booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, Bivalent if it has been at least two months since they have completed primary vaccination or have received the most recent booster dose with any authorized or approved monovalent COVID-19 vaccine.
The Health Department will begin giving the Pfizer bivalent vaccine on Monday, September 12th. They also have the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine available for the primary series.
