On September 10th, 2022, at 9:00 pm, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Herschel McCoy Road regarding an unresponsive male found near the roadway.
Upon arrival, deputies located Blake Edward Reddock of Avinger deceased. Harrison County Investigators were immediately notified and responded to the scene and determined the manner in which Reddock was found warranted a homicide investigation.

The Sheriff’s Department said more information would be released at an appropriate time.
A Go Fund Me has been created to assist with Reddock’s funeral expenses.
