The Marshall Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened earlier today and left one person injured.
Around 4:29 pm, the MPD Emergency Communications Center received multiple calls of a shooting at a gas station located at the intersection of Pinecrest and Rosborough Springs. Officers arrived and located one victim with multiple gunshot wounds, who was quickly transported to the hospital by the Marshall Fire Department.
This investigation is in the early stages, but MPD reports there is no continuing threat to our community as a result of this incident.
